Giveaway for Children's Book Week! May 2-8, 2011

To celebrate Children's Book Week, I am giving away 3 signed books.

The Ghost in Me by Shaunda Kennedy Wenger
Little Red Riding Hood, Into the Forest Again by Shaunda Kennedy Wenger
Duck Duck Moose by Judith E. Torres

Each of these books has been talked about and summarized on this site, so browse around to find out more about them.  ;)

Entering the Giveaway is simple. Simply leave a comment telling me which book you'd wish to receive, and leave an answer to these two questions:

Who is most likely to hear about a great book you have read?

Where do you find new books to read? (friends, reviews, sites, etc)

Check back at the end of the week to see if you are a winner!

Lastly, jump on the link here to see other book giveaways.

Children's Book Week is hosted by Mymcbooks & Co-host Family Literacy and You

Good luck, have fun, and spread the news of a good book or two!

  1. Hi, i just discovered your site through the Utah Writers website. I am particularly interested in writers of youth books.

I'd love to win The Ghost in Me please.

My husband of course is the first to know about books that I have read and think are great. I tell my sister too. I also have a blog on which I show my favorite books, and then I also have a few friends who are interested in similar books as me.

I get book referrals from friends, reviews, and also learn of new books to read by upcoming author visits (mostly local ones).

  2. Thanks for the giveaway...Little Red Riding Hood, Into the Forest Again by Shaunda Kennedy Wenger.

I usually share my favorite books with family and friends, and I find new books to read from friends' suggestions and various blog book reviews.

  3. My first choice would be Duck Duck Moose, but any of them would be great.

We find new books at our library, and we frequently share recommendations with our friends with similar-aged little ones.

  4. I would love to win Duck Duck Moose, my son would love it.

When I read a great book, I always pass it along to my mother and sister and friends. I also like to review it on Goodreads. I find new books to read from my family, friends, blogs, and browsing in the bookstore :)

  5. Duck Duck Moose for my 5 year old grandson.
I am the founder of a 2 year old neighborhood book club with 20 women so we all share news of the best books to read which is how we pick our club selections.

  9. I would choose any of the books--they all sound great!
I always tell my mom about the great books I read :)
I find out about most books through reviews!
